As Casino Guard Is Arrested For Threats
A New Mexico tourist has won $10.5 million slot machine jackpot at a Las Vegas casino. The South Point Hotel Casino & Spa announced the Megabucks payout, citing it was Las Vegas largest jackpot in the last 12 months.
The player who pleaded anonymity, was still in shock when he found out that he won. The player won on a $5 wager. Megabucks s developed by International Game Technology, based in London.
The jackpot was one of two jackpots won on the same night. Hours before this announcement, an Alaskan tourist won more than $2 million at The Cosmopolitan with $40 bet. He said he wasn’t expecting to win when he decided to try the Monopoly Millionaire slot machine.
Casino Security Guard Arrested For Bomb Threats
A security guard at one of the casinos in Louisiana is in custody for allegedly making bomb threats.
Local police authorities mentioned that the person in question is 21 year old Ligin Davis, 21, of Shreveport. He faces two counts of falsifying information of a planned arson. As at the time of filing this report, It is unclear if Davis has an attorney to represent him.
Local police authorities said Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City reported two bomb threats on March 26. After a thorough search of the property by an anti-bomb squad, no incendiary devices were discovered. An investigation into the calls revealed two separate Voice Over IP numbers. Subpoenas and search warrants helped identify a phone number associated with Davis.
